Ministry of Reconciliation History

Many years ago while Captain Bret Reeves was in Korea, God gave him a vision to start a new ministry. That vision came to pass in 2012 and was named Ministry of Reconciliation Church (MRC) with the Biblical base purpose as 2 Corinthians 5:18. MRC held its’ first Bible Study on October 24, 2012 at the James E Bruce Center in Hopkinsville, KY. That night 18 members joined. On November 11, 2012, the first Sunday Worship Service was held and many more members were added to the roster. Within 3 months of that first service, it was time to move to a new location. MRC moved to its’ current location on February 3, 2013. Through God’s life altering and powerful provisions in the past two years, MRC has made an indelible mark on the community with our outreach and collaborative efforts. MRC’s outreach efforts consist of: participating in a food, coat and toy drive with the Salvation Army in 2012 and 2013 and assisting in collection of donations for Oklahoma Tornado Relief and Recovery 2013. In April 2014, MRC partnered with Manna Café Ministries which is a faith-based organization whose mission is to creatively and compassionately restore hope and dignity to the broken and poor.  MRC- a church derived by divine vision and driven by divine purpose!
